Hattenburg-Powers Pullman

The marriage of Sarah K. Powers to Ray E. Hattenburg was solemnized in a July 31 ceremony at North Side Church of Christ in Spokane.

Judy Powers, Spokane, and the late Tommy Powers, are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Mel and Lois Hattenburg, Mead.

A reception followed at Mukogawa Fort Wright Institute. The couple are living in Pullman after a honeymoon on Orcas Island, Wash.

The couple are students at Washington State University. The bride, who is majoring in secondary education, is a student-teacher at Shadle Park High School. The groom is studying construction management.
