Police Bust Another Meth Lab In Cda

Police busted another methamphetamine lab Thursday afternoon near downtown Coeur d’Alene.

Idaho State Police raided a home at 310 W. Walnut, near the corner of A Street.

No one was arrested, but police said they discovered materials used in manufacturing meth.

They found a scuba tank filled with anhydrous ammonia, the same chemical fertilizer believed to have been stolen by two men from a Farmington, Wash., farmer.

“Anything they can put this stuff in, they put it in,” Idaho State Police Capt. Wayne Longo said.

Police do not believe this meth lab is related to Martin Schorzman, who was arrested Wednesday. Police had been following tips for this lab for many months, Longo said.

Thursday’s meth bust brings the number of discovered labs up to 10 so far this year, police said.

“We’re back to business,” Longo said.
