Carney-Hughes Nine Mile Falls

Marcy Kathleen Hughes exchanged wedding vows with Brian Richard Carney in an Aug. 21 ceremony aboard the Mish-an-Nock on Lake Coeur d’Alene.

The bride is the daughter of Rose Hughes, Spokane, and the late William Hughes. The bridegroom is the son of Richard and Kathy Carney, Spokane.

A reception aboard the boat followed the ceremony. The couple are living in Nine Mile Falls and will honeymoon later.

The bride, a graduate of Shadle Park High School, is an administrative assistant for Platt Electric. The groom, who graduated from Rogers High School, is an electrician for Electric Smith Inc.
