Wedding vows were exchanged by Kelli A. Phalen and Sean M. Carpenter in a Dec. 4 ceremony at Heritage Congregational Church.

Paula Whitmore, Spokane, and Pat and Carol Phalen, Brewster, Wash., are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Don and Sherry Carpenter, Post Falls.

A reception followed at the Sons of Norway. The couple are living in Spokane after a honeymoon in Las Vegas.

The bride works in the banking industry, and the groom, a graduate of Spokane Community College, works for Inland Asphalt.
