Area branches of the Spokane Public Library will host a number of programs open to the public in the coming weeks.

The downtown branch will be presenting a special art exhibit of works by students from Saint George’s School.

The exhibit, titled, “The Art of Dragons,” starts Monday and will run through March 10 in the First Floor Gallery.

About 90 works by students in kindergarten through 12th grade will be on display. Original works include pencil and charcoal drawings, water color and acrylic paintings, ceramics, photography and other mediums.

The exhibit is open to the public during normal library hours.
