World Day of Prayer services

Church Women United groups in the Spokane area are sponsoring two World Day of Prayer worship services Friday and next Saturday.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Rockwood Manor, 2903 E. 25th, and at 1:30 p.m. next Saturday at Lilac Plaza, 7007 N. Wiscomb.

This year’s service was written by women in Indonesia and focuses on the theme “Talitha Kumi: Young Woman Stand Up!”

World Day of Prayer is sponsored by Church Women United and is observed throughout the United States. (455-8554)
