Council To Hear Public Comment On District Maps

The Spokane City Council will hold a public hearing on three districting proposals when it meets tonight.

The council is considering proposals first devised by citizens and submitted to the council by a districting board. The districts will be used to select future council members.

The district maps are available at City Hall or on the Internet at www.spokane.net/election.

The council will hold a 3:30 p.m. briefing session and a 6 p.m. regular meeting, both in Council Chambers at City Hall. Both sessions can be seen live on CityCable5.
