United Way Grant Forms To Be Available

Applications for next year’s United Way of Kootenai County grants will be available at a workshop next week.

To qualify for money from the United Way, groups must be: tax-exempt, directed by a volunteer board, administered by a paid staff member, able to meet financial accountability standards, and able to serve without discrimination as to race, color, sex, religion or national origin.

Groups meeting the criteria are invited to attend the grant-writing workship from 10-11:30 a.m. March 8 in Classroom 2 at Kootenai Medical Center.

Call the United Way at 667-8112 for reservations. Grant forms will be available after March 8 at the United Way office, 105 N. Fourth St., Suite 306, Coeur d’Alene. Grant requests must be submitted by April 24.
