Dietz Peterschick Spokane
Service for Dietz F.G. Peterschick, 81, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Heritage Funeral Home. Private burial will be at Spokane Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Peterschick, 81, died Saturday.
He was born in Plaza, Wash., and his family moved to Spokane when he was an infant.
Mr. Peterschick graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1937.
He served in the Army Air Force Finance Division during World War II. He graduated from a finance technicians school in Wake Forest, N.C., and then served for 14 months in New Guinea and six months at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. He was discharged as a master sergeant in 1946.
Mr. Peterschick later graduated with a degree in business administration from Kinman Business College.
He married Elane Dinsmore in 1947.
In 1958 he became a certified public accountant for Morris and Lee Co. He also was an office manager and accountant for Dodge City, Pontiac City, Honda City and Royal Chevrolet. He retired in 1983.
Mr. Peterschick was a member of the Washington Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite bodies, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the El Katif Shrine.
Survivors include his wife and a brother, Halrey Peterschick of Klamath Falls, Ore.

Raymond Pepin DDS Spokane
Private memorial service will be held for Dr. Raymond C. Pepin, 83, at a later date. The Cremation Society of Washington is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Pontiex, Saskatchewan, Mr. Pepin died Tuesday.
He graduated from Lower Columbia Community College and the University of Oregon Dental School Mr. Pepin served in the Army during World War II in the Europe. He was assigned to the Dental Corps and a tank battalion.
He married Robertta Saueressig in 1942, and they lived in Longview, Wash., Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and Phoenix, where he practiced dentistry.
In 1960 they moved to Spokane. He retired in 1979.
Mr. Pepin and his wife lived in the Deer Valley area near Newport, Wash., for several years. They returned to Spokane in 1988.
He was a member of St. Charles Roman Catholic Church.
His wife died in June.
Survivors include a son, Marc Pepin of Spokane; a daughter, Roberta Lyon of Juneau, Alaska; a brother, Bernard Pepin of Longview; and two grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of Spokane.
Mary Ellison Spokane
No service will be held for Mary Ann Ellison, 75, at her request. Hennessey Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ellison, who was born in Timberlake, S.D., died Monday.
She moved to Spokane in 1971 and worked as a registered nurse.
Mrs. Ellison was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church and the Elk Lodge Ladies Auxiliary.
Her husband of 50 years, Harold, died in 1997.
Survivors include three sons, Steven Ellison of Spokane, Stuart Ellison of Belgrade, Mont., and Stanley Ellison of Minneapolis; three daughters, Nina Kianersi of Seattle, Charlene Bell of Prescott, Ariz., and Christine Ellison of Washington, D.C.; a brother, Eugene Lipp of Flint, Mich.; five sisters, Angie Barnes and Terry Wisecarver, both of Smithville, Mo., Bette Hallender of Fresno, Calif., Margaret Heck of Casper, Wyo., and Celene Christianson of Parshall, N.D.; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Church.
Armitta Nieman Spokane
No service will be held for Armitta E. Nieman, 74. Spokane Cremation and Burial Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Nieman, 74, died Monday.
She was born in Sumas, Wash., and her family moved to Spokane when she was an infant.
Mrs. Nieman was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harlan Tallackson in 1975 and Eddie Nieman in 1993.
Survivors include two daughters, JoAnne Young and Lynn Maxwell, both of Spokane; two stepsons, Gary Nieman of Everett and John Nieman of Barstow, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Linda Terry of Arizona; a brother, Joe Scofield of Lynnwood, Wash.; six grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
