Arden and Paula Chapple will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. Jan. 22 at the Sons of Norway Hall, 6710 N. Country Homes Blvd.

Hosts for the occasion will be their children: Lee, Tom, Jeff, Kathleen, Virgeen and Loren.

The couple were married Jan. 21, 1950, in Ottawa, Ill. They have 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
