Marie Sexsmith Tum Tum, Wash.
Service for Marie Graham Sexsmith, 68, will be at 11 a.m. today at Lake Spokane Community Church of Our Savior near Suncrest, Wash. Burial will follow at Scott’s Valley Cemetery in Tum Tum. Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A 27-year Tum Tum resident, Mrs. Sexsmith died last Monday. She was born in Long Island, N.Y.
She graduated from West Valley High School. She worked as a postmistress at the Tum Tum Post Office Substation for 25 years. She was also a purchasing agent for The Spokesman-Review, executive director of the Home Builders Association, office manager for Cathie Trautman and a Mary-Kay director.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Eldon.
Survivors include three daughters, Reagan Dobler of Spokane, Carley Stalling of Billings, Mont., and Lynell Callahan of Ogden, Utah; a brother, Paul Graham of Morris Valley, Calif.; a sister, Betty Newell of Boise; and six grandchildren.

Helen Stearns Spokane
Memorial service for Helen J. Stearns, 84, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Rockwood Manor. Private burial will be at Fairmount Memorial Park. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Republic, Wash., Mrs. Stearns died Dec. 23.
She served in the Women’s Army Corps as a sergeant from 1941 to 1943 in Oakridge, Tenn.
Mrs. Stearns was a 50-year Spokane resident and a homemaker.
Her husband of 46 years, George, died in 1993.
Survivors include a brother-in-law, Wilfred Stearns of Rockford; and a sister-in-law, Billie Russell of Olympia.
