Girl Found During Meth Raid
A Pend Oreille County couple charged with manufacturing methamphetamine Wednesday was also charged with endangerment of a child when their daughter was found living in an uninhabitable mobile home.
At about 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Pend Oreille County Sheriff’s Department and the Washington State Patrol Clandestine Lab Team executed a search warrant on Rocky Gorge Road north of Sacheen Lake, Sheriff Jerry Weeks said.
Ronald E. Rigby, 40, and his wife, Lauri R. Rigby, 35, were arrested and charged with manufacture of a controlled substance with intent to deliver methamphetamine, Weeks said.
The couple’s 11-year-old daughter was found living by herself in an uninhabitable mobile home, Weeks said. The girl was placed in protective custody, he said. The Rigbys were charged with reckless endangerment of a child.
