Miller’S 10 Points Help Wallace Dump Mullan

Corey Miller came off the bench to score 10 points Saturday night, and Craig Zanetti had eight rebounds to guide Wallace to a 56-46 non-league boys basketball win over visiting Mullan.

Wallace’s season scoring leader, Tim Fleming, missed the game with a sprained ankle, but the Miners built a 23-point lead with 4 minutes left.

Mullan’s Derik Stanley scored 11 of his 24 in the fourth quarter.

A half-court trap allowed the Wampus Cats to break from a halftime tie. Kootenai missed 19 of 27 field-goal attempts in the second half.

Dan Parrish of the Warriors had 18 points, 13 rebounds and four steals.
