Armed Man Robs North Side Cinema

A man armed with a pistol robbed a north Spokane cinema Sunday, police said.

An employee told officers she was counting money in a ticket booth at the North Division Cinemas, 7410 N. Division, about 8 p.m. when a man walked up to the window and pulled out a gun.

The bandit said nothing but pointed the pistol at her and waved it, police said. He then grabbed some cash and ran away.

The victim said the robber is white, at least 6 feet 3 inches tall and stocky. She also said he had big lips, police said.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Crime Check at 456-2233.
