“Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” has not only boosted the ratings of the Walt Disney Co.’s ABC network, it has also helped propel Disney Interactive to record-setting sales in the fourth quarter.

The CD-ROM version featuring host Regis Philbin shipped more than 1 million units in the first four weeks after its November release, setting an all-time PC game industry record for the most copies sold in a month, according to PC Data.

It was the best-selling title during the holidays.
