Spokane Mental Health was awarded the highest certification offered by the national Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations during a December visit.

Spokane Mental Health, a 20-year-old nonprofit agency, is the only behavioral health provider to hold the prestigious Accreditation with Commendation in Eastern Washington.

Two other Spokane providers - Tamarack Center and 92nd Medical Group on Fairchild Air Force Base - received lower-level accreditation.
