Clara `Peggy’ (Schmidt) Ray Uniontown, Wash.
Funeral Mass for Clara “Peggy” (Schmidt) Ray, 67, will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Boniface Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown. Burial will follow at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery. Kimball Funeral Home in Pullman is in charge of arrangements.
A lifetime Uniontown resident, Mrs. Ray died Tuesday.
She graduated in 1950 from Colton (Wash.) High School and then from Keatings Secretarial College in Spokane.
Mrs. Ray worked for several banks in the Lewis and Clark Valley area.
In 1953 she married Lloyd Ray.
Mrs. Ray worked as a manager for the Uniontown Community Club for 32 years.
She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary No. 214 in Uniontown.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mary Crossler of Viola, Idaho, Elva Robins of Uniontown and Jennifer Haugan of Kennewick; two sons, Steve Ray of Albion, Wash., and Jeff Ray of Uniontown; two brothers, Leo Schmidt of Asotin, Wash., and Lawrence Schmidt of Vancouver, Wash.; three sisters, Laura Myers of Palm Springs, Calif., Mary Steigel of Seattle and Agnes Ludwig of Groveland, Calif.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Cheryl (McMullin) Scott Spokane
Memorial service for Cheryl (McMullin) Scott, 56, is planned for 3 p.m. Sunday at Community Bible Chapel. Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Bozeman, Mont., Mrs. Scott died Tuesday.
She graduated in 1962 from North Central High School.
Mrs. Scott operated a childcare center for more than 17 years out of her home.
Her former husband, Buzz Burch, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Steve Burch of Spokane; two daughters, Kelli Messingale and Alicia Jackson, both of Spokane; her mother, Vera McMullin of Spokane; two sisters, Linda McMullin of Spokane and Carol McMullin of Oklahoma; two brothers, Bill McMullin or North Carolina and Paul McMullin; and five grandchildren.

Donald White Kennewick
No service will be held for Donald L. White, 73, at his request. Columbia Gardens Funeral Home in Pasco is in charge of arrangements.
Born in St. John, Wash., Mr. White died Monday.
He graduated from Central Valley High School and Eastern Washington University.
Mr. White served in the Army with the Sixth Mechanized Calvary Reconnaissance Troop.
He was a special agent with the Internal Revenue Service in Spokane from 1958 to 1980. He moved to Kennewick from Spokane a year ago.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Lois; a daughter, Joanne Welch of Krickenbach, Germany; a stepson, Paul Snyder of Gig Harbor, Wash.; a stepdaughter, Sandra Villa of Tahoe City, Calif.; a sister, Darlene Hanson of Kennewick; four grandsons and two great-grandchildren.

Elmer Barnett Sprague, Wash.
No service will be held for Elmer H. Barnett at his request. Danekas Funeral Home in Ritzville, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Grangeville, Idaho, Mr. Barnett, died Tuesday. He was 84.
He graduated from high school in Grangeville and served in the Army from 1940 to 1945.
In Idaho, he worked in the mining industry.
Mr. Barnett moved to Sprague from Spokane in 1991.
Survivors include his wife of eight years, Ruth; a daughter, Frances Weddle of Show Low, Ariz.; two stepdaughters, Connie Rae of Alaska and Patricia Smith of Spokane; two stepsons, Frederick Eke of Spokane and Steven Eke of Everett, Wash.; a sister, Louise Lock of Eugene, Ore.; and several grandchildren.
Patricia Lightfoot Spokane
Funeral Mass for Patricia Ann Lightfoot, 62, is planned for 11 a.m. today at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church. Private burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A lifetime Spokane resident, Mrs. Lightfoot died Tuesday.
She graduated magna cum laude from Gonzaga University in 1958 with a bachelor of arts degree.
Mrs. Lightfoot taught first grade at Bemis Elementary School for 37 years.
She was a member of the Spokane, Washington and National education associations and was active with Marycliff High School alumni.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Richard; two sons, Christopher Lightfoot of Spokane and Thaddeus Lightfoot of Minneapolis; a sister, Terri Wenzel of Los Gatos, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gonzaga University Alumni Scholarship Fund.
Lonnie Reynolds Post Falls
Graveside service for Lonnie K. Reynolds, 58, will be today at noon at Pleasant View Cemetery in Post Falls. Memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at Pleasant View Church in Post Falls. English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Reynolds, who was born Opportunity, Wash., died last Saturday.
He previously lived in Spokane for many years and worked as a carpet layer.
He was an Army veteran and a member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 6.
Mr. Reynolds moved to Post Falls in 1991 and was a billiards player.
Survivors include his companion, Ina Lorenz of Post Falls; a son, Jason Dinwiddie of Missouri; three daughters, Connie Ovideo and Vicki and Carrie Reynolds, all of Spokane; two brothers, Everett Reynolds of Addy, Wash., and Duane Reynolds of Thonotosassa, Fla.; a sister, Faith Reynolds of Spokane; and six grandchildren.
Katharine Rassley Coeur d’Alene
Funeral Mass for Katharine Cope Rassley, 95, was Wednesday at St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church in Coeur d’Alene. Burial was at St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene.
Mrs. Rassley, a longtime educator, died Jan. 22.
She was born in Spokane and lived in Spirit Lake before moving to Coeur d’Alene in 1910. She graduated from the Immaculate Heart of Mary Academy in 1922.
She graduated in 1924 from Lewiston Normal School and then began a teaching career in Greencreek, Idaho, before moving to Montana.
In 1927 she married George Rassley. They lived in Montana before returning to Coeur d’Alene in 1938.
She taught at Dalton Gardens School and graduated from Holy Names College in Spokane in 1945 with a bachelor of arts degree. She then taught at Central Elementary in Coeur d’Alene.
She served as principal at Central for 19 years before retiring in 1970.
Mrs. Rassley was a volunteer with local cancer organizations, served as Cancer Crusade captain for 22 years, and also donated her time at Sunset Terrace where she received a Service Award for 20 years of commitment.
She was honored as a past Idaho Retired Teacher of the Year and Catholic Daughter of the Year, and was recognized for Outstanding Volunteer Service at the 1982 Governor’s Award Luncheon. Mrs. Rassley was a supporter of Holy Family Catholic School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George.
Survivors include two sons, the Rev. George Rassley of Coeur d’Alene and Thomas Rassley of Spokane; a daughter, Sr. Mary Rassley of Coeur d’Alene; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Vera Michalchuk Cusick, Wash.
Service for Vera L. Michalchuk, 84, will be at 1 p.m. today at Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home in Newport, Wash. Graveside service will follow at Metaline (Wash.) Cemetery.
Miss Michalchuk, who was born in Waterbury, Conn., died Tuesday.
During World War II she worked at Armco Steel. She later worked as a welder for Pullman Standard.
Miss Michalchuk moved to Cusick in 1988 from Pennsylvania.
She is survived by a niece, Darlene Manwill of Cusick.
Mava Wallace Spokane
No service will be held for Mava I. Wallace, 99, at her request. Private inurnment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Michigan, Miss Wallace died Dec. 16.
She was a 90-year Spokane resident.
Miss Wallace served in the Army for a short time and later was a teacher in the Spokane area.
Survivors include a niece, Dixie Edward, and nephew, Donald Potts, both of Spokane.
Grace Corrigan Spokane
Vigil service for Grace H. Corrigan, a longtime Spokane resident, will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Assumption Roman Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Born in Allen, Neb., Mrs. Corrigan died Wednesday. She was 96.
She moved to Spokane in 1948 and was a homemaker and member of St. Francis of Assisi and Assumption Altar societies, and Gonzaga Philomathea.
Her husband, Raymond, died in 1981.
Survivors include a son, Terry Corrigan; a sister, Ruth Kendall; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Assumption Catholic Church, the Jesuit Fathers or Hospice of Spokane.
Zita Ivanova Spokane
Service for Zita M. Ivanova, 41, will be at 10 a.m. today at Valley Assembly of God Church. Burial will follow at Pines Cemetery. Thornhill Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A 10-year Spokane resident, Mrs. Ivanova died Wednesday. She was born in Lithuania.
She was a homemaker and a member of Valley Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include her husband, Victor Ivanov; three sons, Daniel, Vitaly and David, and a daughter, Yolanta, all of Spokane; and her mother, Sofia Lapinskas of Spokane.
Shirley (Browning) Rasmussen Princeton, Idaho
No service will be held for Shirley E. (Browning) Rasmussen at her request. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rasmussen, who was born in Onaway, Idaho, died Sunday. She was 69.
In 1949 she married Robert Osborn. They later divorced.
In 1969 she married James Rasmussen and they lived in Cardiff, Idaho, and Princeton.
Mrs. Rassmussen was a homemaker and a member of the Princeton Club and Grange.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Patty Moss of St. Maries and Kay Chandler of Harvard, Idaho; a son, Jim Osborn of Princeton; four stepchildren, Jolene Hassett of Spokane, Bill Rasmussen of Plummer, Idaho, and Gary and Chris Rasmussen, both of Kennewick; four sisters, Marie Rohn and Jessie Rueppel, both of Potlatch, Idaho, Margie Osterlund of Cheney and Pearl Hicks of Coeur d’Alene; two brothers, Warren Browning of Fernwood, Idaho, and Dock Browning of Deary, Idaho; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Marilyn Isbell Hayden, Idaho
Memorial service for Marilyn H. Isbell, 64, will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Coeur d’Alene Bible Church. Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Isbell, who died Wednesday, was born in Hardin, Mont.
She graduated from high school in Great Falls, Mont., and then worked as a teller for Montana State Bank in Great Falls.
Mrs. Isbell began attending Cascade College in Portland in 1956 and in 1958 married Wes Isbell.
They moved to Madras, Ore. in 1960 and to Kalispell, Mont., in 1964. They lived in Sandpoint and Bonners Ferry before settling in Hayden in 1976.
Mrs. Isbell was a homemaker and began a career as a secretary with the Public Employees Retirement System of Idaho in 1978. She retired as office manager in 1995.
Mrs. Isbell was a member of Coeur d’Alene Bible Church and did craft work.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Brian Isbell of Kelso, Wash.; a daughter, Tami Frantzich of Post Falls; a brother, the Rev. Merton Peterson of Roseburg, Ore.; and three grandchildren.
