Most Services Closed For Holiday, Open Monday

The Fourth of July on Tuesday will be a holiday for most. But many services will be open on Monday.

Mail: No delivery on Tuesday. However, box service will be offered at the Riverside Post Office and Liberty Park Post Office. The Postal Service will operate on a regular schedule Monday.

Government offices: All federal, state, county and city offices will be closed July 4. Monday is not a holiday for government agencies, but the Spokane City Council will not have its weekly meeting because of a lack of quorum.

Libraries: All Spokane Public Libraries will be closed Tuesday. They are open Monday.

Parking meters: Park free Tuesday. They need to be fed Monday.

Buses: Normal service Monday; holiday schedule on Tuesday.

Liquor stores: Closed Tuesday and open Monday.

Garbage: Service in the city will be regular Monday and a day late the rest of the week.
