Job duties: Overseeing installation of heating and cooling systems in commercial buildings by supervising installers and coordinating with electricians and plumbers.

Current project: Installing the system in the new St. George’s High School.

Job challenges: Finding room for all the duct work in cramped spaces. “Every job is a lot different on site than it is on paper.”

Favorite part of job: “I like being out on my own, making decisions. I don’t have someone looking over my shoulder the whole time.”

Least favorite part of job: Freezing in the winter and roasting in the summer. “Of course, once the heating and cooling system is in, we’re leaving.”
