Ex-Intel Official Joins Pullman Firm

From Staff

A former Intel executive has been hired as sales and marketing vice president at Pullman’s Advanced Hardware Architectures.

Gary Hahnert, who joined AHA this spring, is in charge of global marketing initiatives for the firm.

At Intel, Hahnert was North American business development manager for cable and network operations.

AHA’s key products involve “forward-error” correction technology - a network system that enables quicker data transfers using passive connectors and software.

The company is also emphasizing building sales in the growing wireless market. It has introduced Turbo Product Code, a technology that compresses data, then helps decode it at the receiving end.

“With Gary’s experience at both start-ups and established businesses, he has the entrepreneurial acumen and sensibilities to help us maximize our growth opportunities,” said AHA President Pat Owsley.
