Lyndell Reinbold Plummer, Idaho
Visitation for Lyndell E. Reinbold, 60, will be held Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:40 a.m. at Yates-Hodge Funeral Home in St. Maries. Memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. at the Lakeside High School Gymnasium in Plummer, Idaho, with private burial to follow.
Mrs. Reinbold, who was born in Potlatch, Idaho, died Friday.
She grew up in Potlatch, Idaho, and graduated from high school there in 1957. She attended the University of Idaho before receiving a degree in education and her master’s degree in education from Eastern Washington University.
She married James Graue in 1960; the couple later divorced.
She lived in Spokane and worked for various schools. She also lived in Valleyford before moving to Green Bluff.
She married Dennis Reinbold in 1982, and retired from the Spokane school system after 28 years of service.
The couple settled in Plummer in 1992, where she had worked with the educational Upward Bound Program and had also participated in the ministry at the Spokane County Jail for nine years.
Mrs. Reinbold was a member of the Life Christian Fellowship Church of Plummer, and was active in gardening, quilting and raising chickens.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Wayne Graue of Valleyford; a daughter, Lisa Gingerich of Genesee, Idaho; a stepson, Jake Reinbold of Alaska; four brothers, Alden Fitch of Spokane, Luther Fitch of Hermiston, Ore., Byron Fitch of Ritzville, Wash., and Duane Fitch of Coeur d’Alene; two sisters, Elizabeth Webb of Kahlotus, Wash., and Clelia Callihan of Potlatch; and three grandchildren.

Helen Mason Spokane
Visitation for Helen G. Mason, 102, will be from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hazen and Jaeger Funeral Home. Service is planned for 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be at Riverside Memorial Park.
Mrs. Mason, who was born in Dodge, Wis., died Friday.
She was a homemaker.
Her husband, Charles, died in 1979.
Survivors include three sons, Jack Mason of Spokane, Bill Mason of Bowman, N.D., and Jerry Mason of Pacific, Mo.; a daughter, Violet Anderson of Seattle; a brother, Marion Kulas of Bowman; 25 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Miriam (Lienkaemper) Hunter Spokane
Service for Miriam S. (Lienkaemper) Hunter, 97, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-South. Burial will be at Riverside Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hunter, who was born in Wayne, Wis., died Saturday.
She graduated from Yakima High School in 1920 and later attended Whitman College for three years. In 1926 she graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in music education and piano.
After she graduated she was a secretary in Seattle and Yakima. She also taught at Pilot Rock (Ore.) High School for one year. She married A. Ray Hunter in 1931 and they moved to Spokane.
Mrs. Hunter began teaching Library Science for District 81 in 1960. She retired in 1968 and continued to substitute in District 81 school libraries until 1983.
She was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, Chapter CH of the Philanthropic Educational Organization, Mu Phi Epsilon Sorority and the First Presbyterian Church, where she was also a volunteer for the Barton School.
Her husband died in 1958.
Survivors include a son, A. Ray Hunter Jr. of Spokane; four grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and seven stepgreat-grandchildren.

Doris Acuff Coeur d’Alene
Memorial service for Doris Ilene Acuff, 80, will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene. Burial will be at Forest Cemetery in Coeur d’Alene.
Mrs. Acuff, who was born in Endicott, Wash., died Monday.
She grew up in Dayton, Wash., and moved to Coeur d’Alene with her family in 1933. She graduated from Coeur d’Alene High School and the University of Washington.
Mrs. Acuff married Carter Crimp in 1941; he died in 1977.
She married Joe Acuff in 1985; he died earlier this year.
Mrs. Acuff was a member of the P.E.O. and the Hayden Lake Country Club, and was active in boating, cooking and golf. She was also a musician and played the piano and organ.
Survivors include two sons, Douglas Crimp of New York, N.Y., and Greg Crimp of Coeur d’Alene; a daughter, Sandi Bloem of Coeur d’Alene; two stepsons, Jim Acuff of Edwall, Wash., and Pat Acuff of Coeur d’Alene; 13 grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.

Mack Hooper Oldtown, Idaho
Memorial service for Mack E. Hooper, 62, will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Newport, Wash. Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home in Newport is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hooper, who was born in Slaughterville Corner, Okla., died June 28.
He graduated form high school in California, and married Linda French in 1956.
Mr. Hooper moved to Idaho 25 years ago, and was a auto mechanic.
He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Mack Jr. and James Hooper, both of Newport; a daughter, Donna Patterson of Oldtown; a brother, Keith Hooper of Kingman, Ariz.; a sister, Joyce Venezia of Sacramento, Calif.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Vera Sauer Spokane
Service for Vera M. Sauer, 83, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Sunset Hill Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Burial will be at Riverside Memorial Park. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Sauer, who was born in Joplin, Mont., died June 27. She was a 30-year Spokane resident.
She was a restaurant manager, and a member of the Sunset Hill Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Survivors include two sons, Harold and Gerald Adams, both of Seattle; three daughters, Shirley McLean of Spokane, Connie Hanson of Flinthill, Mo., and Betty Cross of Havre, Mont.; a brother, Virgil Sauer of Sandy, Ore.; five sisters, Velma Adams of Hayden Lake, Idaho, Verna Heydon of Great Falls, Mont., Verla Cady of Seattle, Varvara Adams of Lakeside, Mont., and Vivian Henderson of Boise; 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Elmer Mally Chewelah, Wash.
Vigil service for Elmer A. Mally, 77, will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Jump Off Joe, Wash. Funeral Mass is planned for 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be at the Jump Off Joe Cemetery. Schanzenbach Funeral Home in Chewelah is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Mally, who was born in Valley, Wash., died Friday.
He was a carpenter and had been the caretaker of the Jump Off Joe Cemetery.
He was a member of the Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Barbara; a daughter, Pat Rogers of Valley; two sons, Jim Mally of Loon Lake, Wash., and Ernie Mally of Valley; three sisters, Louise Magart, and Lorraine and Irene Ambacher, all of Valley; and four grandchildren.
Pearl Williamson Mead
Service for Pearl T. Williamson, 85, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Riplinger Funeral Home. Private burial will be at Spokane Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Williamson, who was born in Clough, S.D., died Sunday. She was a 51-year Spokane resident.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Mead United Methodist Church.
Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Harriet Smith of Mead; a son, Joe Williamson of Spokane; a brother, Wilbur Lipston of Yuma, Ariz.; two sisters, Nellie Roth of Rapid City, S.D. and Cedelia Anderson of Newell, S.D.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Michael Materne Spokane
Memorial service for Michael L. Materne, 43, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home.
Mr. Materne, a lifetime resident of Spokane, died June 28.
He graduated from Lewis and Clark High School and was the owner and operator of Materne Auto Sales.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Don and Mary Materne of Spokane; a sister, Diane Garcia, and a brother, Mark Materne, both of Spokane; two stepsisters, Gina Oliver and Amie Cunneely, both of Spokane.
