Katie Brophy of Gonzaga Prep qualified for the Junior World Golf Championships, to be held at Torrey Pines at San Diego July 15-20.

Brophy earned the berth with a two-round total of 148 (77-71) for third place at the Capital City qualifier at Capital City Golf and Country Club in Olympia. The top seven finishers at Olympia qualified for the World Championships.

Shelbi Cavalar, also of Gonzaga Prep, was 25th with scores of 90-88-178.
