New Bank Proposed For Cda
A group of investors plans to open a new community bank in Coeur d’Alene.
January 2001 is the target date for the opening of the proposed bankcda. The bank’s niche will be individuals and small- to medium-sized businesses in Kootenai County who want a local banker, according to organizers. It will be located in Building A at 1620 Northwest Blvd.
The bank’s proposed president is Max Faller, a former vice president at First Security Bank. The proposed chief financial officer is Jennifer Johnson, a former senior vice president with Inland Northwest Bank. Craig Tedmon is the proposed chairman.
Some 37 investors are involved in bankcda. Organizers have applied for a state charter and insurance from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. A stock offering will be held to raise start-up capital.
