Leo and Lucy Higgins celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary June 17 at the Spokane Country Club.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Al and Rose Dernbach, Jim and Carol Higgins, Larry and Kathy Dilley, Gary and Geralyn Garberg, Joe and Jacque Tjards, and Bill and Marilyn Moser, all of Spokane.

The Higgins were married June 17, 1936, in Imogene, Iowa. They have 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
