Gap Opens Store At Downtown Mall
Now everyone in the family can shop at a River Park Square Gap store.
The chain opens its Baby Gap/ Gap Kids store on the third floor of the downtown mall today, making River Park Square the only mall in the Northwest to include the two kids shops, a traditional Gap store and Gap Body.
Some 25 employees have been hired to work in the 4,500-square-foot store, said Baby Gap manager Bridget Harlan.
“It’s the Gap 2000 concept,” she said. “The merchandise is the same (as other Baby Gap stores), but it features new fixtures and a fresh new look.”
Also open at River Park Square is the public area on the skywalk level of Phase II. Now shoppers can travel between the Bon Marche and Nordstrom without having to navigate the temporary tunnel erected during construction.
Other River Park Square stores scheduled to open in the coming months include Pottery Barn, Banana Republic, Abercrombie & Fitch and Restoration Hardware.
