Sunshine Mining On New Exchange
Sunshine Mining and Refining Co.’s stock is now trading on the Over the Counter Bulletin Board under the symbol SSCF.
The Boise company stock was suspended Friday from trading on the New York Stock Exchange because it no longer met the listing requirements.
Sunshine had fallen below the $50 million market capitalization requirement, and its stock prices dropped below $1 per share.
In other news, Sunshine’s creditors granted another extension on $27 million in past due bond payments. Sunshine officials and creditors will meet again Friday in an effort to negotiate a restructuring plan for the financially troubled company.
Sunshine operates the Sunshine Mine near Kellogg, Idaho.
