Stevens Underpass Next To Receive Mural
The third in a series of downtown Spokane murals will be painted at the Stevens Street railroad underpass Monday through Friday between noon and 6 p.m.
Shannon Noel, a local artist and production designer, will work with a team of youth volunteers from the East Central Community Center.
This is the third of three murals painted at downtown underpasses this spring and summer. The project, funded by a grant from the Bank of America, is designed to provide professional artists an opportunity to work with youth and to discourage graffiti in public areas and create clean, bright, pleasant, secure walkways.
