Fund-Raiser To Offer Antique Appraisals

From Staff

Antique owners who are curious about the value of their treasures can get them appraised at a charitable fund-raiser today.

The Wishing Star Foundation is sponsoring its first-ever Adventures in Antiques Appraisal at the Bayou Brewing Co., 1003 E. Trent, from noon to 9 p.m.

Six antique experts from Spokane and Coeur d’Alene will be on hand for appraisals in the Rendezvous Room. The cost is $10 for one or two items and $5 for each additional item.

Door prizes and raffle tickets are being offered.

Proceeds will go to granting wishes to children in Eastern Washington and North Idaho who are struggling with life-threatening illnesses.

The Spokane appraisers include Connie Pearce of Finders Keepers, Larry Rigsby of the Antique Gallery, Jeff Chaney of Pounders Jewelry and Joyce Harris of Marble Collecting and Appraisals.

The Coeur d’Alene appraisers are Matt Dingman and Jeff Gagman of Extraordinary Appraisers at Wiggets.
