Spotlight: Hoop D’Gras

The 9th Annual Jeff Weeman Memorial Hoop d’Gras 3-on-3 basketball tournament will be held in Colville Aug. 5-6.

The tournament is named for a Washington State University student who was killed in a handgun accident in 1989.

The tournament’s proceeds have been used to fund a number community projects, including the purchase of athletic equipment, construction of athletic facilities and funding of scholarships.
