Robert and Maxine Gillingham celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary June 24 with a dinner shared with family and friends.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses; Larry and Dorothy Gillingham, Veradale; Joyce Gillingham and Lee Powell, Burlington, Wash.; and Janice Gillingham and Travis Prewitt, Liberty Lake.

The Gillinghams were married June 12, 1940, in Coeur d’Alene. They have three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
