Hearing Planned On Mobile Home Park

The Kootenai County Commission will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. Wednesday for the proposed Cloverleaf Park, which would include 123 manufactured homes near Hauser Lake.

A hearing examiner in May ruled against the plan proposed by Jim Stravens.

In the past three days, about 75 people have sent letters in opposition to the plan, said Rand Wichman, senior county planner. However, Stravens - a former county planning director - and his attorney support the development.
