Comments Sought On Air Quality Permit

The public has until mid-August to comment on an air quality permit for a Post Falls company. Foam Molders Inc. has applied for the permit. The company makes insulated building panels and foam packaging products at its plant. The facility releases pentane, which creates smog.

The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality is seeking public comment on a proposed air quality permit for the company. Comment will be accepted until August 18. Copies of the permit package are available for review at the DEQ office in Coeur d’Alene and the Post Falls Public Library. For more information, call DEQ at 769-1422.
