Clyde And Sue Parkert Spokane

Clyde and Sue Parkert will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 5 with a gathering at Opportunity Presbyterian Church from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Hosts for the event are their children and spouses: Gary and Julie Parkert, Buckley, Wash.; Cheryl and Robert Vasse, Huntsville, Ala.; and Yvonne and Jeffery Lorenz, Neshanic, N.J.

The Parkerts were married June 1, 1950, in Manhattan, Kan. They have eight grandchildren.
