Credit Cards Not His; Man Arrested
A Spokane man was arrested after identification and credit cards belonging to six people were found in his billfold.
Sheriff’s deputies were called after a man was seen prowling a car near the 6300 block of East Ritter Avenue. Deputies stopped a 27-year-old male matching the description at 4:40 a.m. Tuesday.
The suspect had an outstanding warrant for failure to register as a sex offender.
When a deputy searched the suspect’s wallet, there were two credit cards, two check cards, a driver’s license, a gas card and a social security card, none of which had the suspect’s name.
James A. Burke Jr., 27, 327-1/2 W. Second, was arrested and booked into the Spokane County Jail.
