State 4A/3A Track Championships Still Need A Home For 2001

Next year’s 4A/3A Star Track XIX was supposed to be in Pasco, but a conflict with youth soccer ended that.

The decision on where to place the meet will be made in July. Expect the meet back at Lincoln Bowl in Tacoma. The other choice is the University of Washington.

Washington State has not bid.

UW has some pluses over the Tacoma high school site, but certainly would lack the intimacy.

Lincoln Bowl is probably the best choice, unless WSU makes a pitch.
