Feast of Weeks planned

The Messianic Jewish Fellowship of Spokane will host a special Shavout (Feast of Weeks) celebration on June 11.

The potluck dinner will begin at 6 p.m. at the Corbin Community Center, 827 W. Cleveland. Those attending are asked to bring a main dish and a salad or a dessert.

All dishes must be biblically kosher. Call 465-9523 for more information.

Interfaith pride service Sunday

The third annual interfaith pride service is scheduled for Sunday at 6 p.m. at Emmanuel Metropolitan Community Church, 412 S. Bernard.

The service will celebrate the human rights successes in the gay and lesbian community.

Guest speakers will be the Rev. Roxanne WhiteLight, the Rev. Linda Hart and the Rev. Kevin McLemore.
