Travel guide

The 2000 edition of the Clearwater National Forests Travel Guide is now available free from any Clearwater National Forest office.

The guide, an 86-page booklet, provides comprehensive information about the activities permitted on national forest roads and trails.

According to Forest Supervisor Jim Caswell, the guide is a must-have for any visitor who plans to drive on Forest Service roads or trails.

The Travel Guide can be used in combination with the forest visitor map to help recreationists plan a trip on the Clearwater National Forest. It shows all the roads and trails on the forest that have some type of travel restriction.

For additional information, or to receive a copy of the The 2000 Travel Guide, contact any Clearwater National Forest ranger station or the supervisors office at (208)476-8279.
