Don and Jeannine Carmichael celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with a gathering at the Spokane Valley DoubleTree Hotel.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Anne and Brad Krueger, Spokane; Lynn and Robin Carmichael, Salinas, Calif.; Dale Carmichael, Puyallup, Wash.; Kay Howatson, Duvall, Wash.; and Donna and William Timbrook, Seattle.

The Carmichaels were married June 4, 1950 in Yakima. They have 11 grandchildren.
