Driver’S Licensing Offices Match Hours

The two state driver’s licensing offices in Spokane will start keeping the same hours on Tuesday.

The North Spokane office had been open Monday through Friday, while the Valley office was open Tuesday through Saturday. Now, both will be open Tuesday through Saturday, and they will stay open later on weekdays.

The new hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday; and from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

“The comments we’ve received from customers have been clear,” said Denise Movius, assistant director of driver services. “People want a standardized schedule, and they want more convenient hours.”
