Garco Building Expanding Facility
Garco Building Systems recently announced it will expand its West Plains facility, adding nearly 23,000 square feet for production and storage.
The $1.4 million project will increase the plant size by almost 20 percent. Staffing will increase by up to 45, adding $1.8 million to the payroll.
Garco, founded in Spokane in 1958, manufactures steel building systems for the Northwest and Canada. The business now has 150 employees. It expects revenues for 2000 to reach $27 million.
Work on the project is scheduled to be completed by January.
