The city needs to fill vacancies on two citizen commissions: Urban Forestry and Parks and Recreation. Applications are available at City Hall, 408 Spokane St.

The Urban Forestry Commission meets on the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. The term will expire in December, 2002. The Parks and Recreation Commission meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. For more information, call Chris Pappas, city clerk, at 773-3511.
