Alan and Velda Carlson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary June 10 with a reception at Hotel Lusso.

Hosts for the event were their children and spouses; Andrea and Patrick Sherlock, and Janet and Jeff Strange, all of Spokane.

The Carlsons were married June 10, 1950, in Spokane. They have two grandchildren.
