Argument Spurs Murder-Suicide Brush

Two men died after a Vancouver man shot a Brush Prairie resident before turning the gun on himself, Clark County sheriff’s deputies said.

Michael D. Breitenstein, 32, shot Jason D. Wagner, 25, at Wagner’s rented home here early Saturday, apparently after an argument, sheriff’s Sgt. Steve Shea said. Breitenstein then fatally shot himself, Shea said.

Wagner was critically wounded and died after being taken to Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver.
