Indians Add 8 Players To Roster

The Spokane Indians added eight more players on Monday extending the roster to 18 players.

Seven of the eight additions have already played for the Kansas City Royals Class A affiliate Charleston Alleycats and the rookie-league Gulf Coast Royals. They are: Brannon Baranowski, RHP; Rafael Rinconnes, RHP; Brad Stiles, LHP; Henry Alvarez, C; Hersy Felix, C; Chad Santos, 1B; Juan Guzman, SS.

The new player to the Royals organization is Rich Devine.

Devine is an undrafted free-agent outfielder out of Emporia State University. Devine led the nation with 58 stolen bases this season and hit over .400 his junior and senior seasons.
