Punctured Gas Line Closes Sandpoint Library

The Sandpoint Library was closed for the afternoon Wednesday after landscape workers accidentally pierced a gas line.

The accident occurred at 12:45 p.m. Because the leak was under the eave of the building, the building was evacuated and ventilated. The gas line was repaired right away, according to the Sandpoint Fire Department.
