Man Who Died At Motel Identified

From Staff

A man who died after he flipped over a third-floor railing at a Spokane motel Friday has been identified by police as Patrick Bryan Scott.

Scott, 38, was taken to Deaconess Medical Center and placed on life support, which was later removed.

A search warrant affidavit says Scott was drinking at the Mayfair Cafe Lounge with a woman before the 11 p.m. accident.

The Mayfair is across the street from the Downtowner Motel, where the couple were staying. Scott and his companion were apparently in the room alone before the fall took place, police said.

An investigation was continuing.
