Suspect Sought For Texaco Robbery

Police are looking for a man who robbed a gas station Friday night.

A male between 25 and 30 displayed a six-inch kitchen knife and ordered a clerk to open the cash register at the Texaco station at 511 E. Francis about 7:30 p.m. Friday. The man grabbed some cash and fled west on Francis.

The robber was described as black, about 5-foot-11, 190 pounds, wearing blue jeans, a gray T-shirt and a baseball cap with “RentX” on it. Call Crime Check, 456-2233.
