Lincare Will Expand

Lincare, the Florida-based home health care firm, is expanding its Spokane billing and collection offices.

Lincare is a nationwide provider of respiratory home medical care. Its head office is in Clearwater, Fla.

It will expand from two offices to three in Spokane to handle regional billing for several Midwest and Western states.

The expansion calls for leasing 8,000 square feet of office at the Pinecroft Business Park on Mirabeau Parkway.

About 45 of 165 current Lincare workers in Spokane are moving to the new Valley office, said Carlos Reyes, a Lincare spokesman.

The other two Spokane offices - on North Hastings Road and on South Jefferson - will continue operating, said Reyes.

The company expects to see its Spokane work force grow by about 50 people over the next year, Reyes said.

“We’re the only city in the country for Lincare with three regional billing offices,” Reyes said. The reason for that growth is “the strong work ethic and reliability of employees in Spokane,” he said.
