Ex-Idaho Assistant Returns To Nevada

Phil Earley called a reverse play - for himself.

Earley, who left University of Nevada’s football staff to become Cincinnati’s offensive coordinator in January, has returned as Nevada’s offensive coordinator.

“What it came down to was what was best for my career and family,” Earley told the Reno Gazette-Journal.

Earley previously served as offensive coordinator at Idaho and was a finalist for the head coaching job that went to Tom Cable.
