Raymond Marvin Priest River, Idaho

Service for Raymond L. “Ray” Marvin, 75, will be at 1 p.m. today at Eternal Valley Memorial Park in Newhall, Calif. Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home in Newport, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Marvin, who was born in Fayette, Iowa, died Wednesday.

He graduated from high school in 1943, and in 1952 moved to California, where he worked as a meat cutter for Vaughns and Alexandars.

Mr. Marvin moved to Priest River in 1988.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association, the Masonic Lodge and the Shriners.

His wife, Dorothy, died in 1986.

He is survived by two brothers, Richard Marvin of Priest River and Robert Marvin of Iowa.

Wanda Fisher Deer Park

Visitation for Wanda Fisher, 80, will be at 1 p.m. today at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Chattaroy. Service will follow at 2 p.m. Graveside service is planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rexburg (Idaho) Cemetery. Ball and Dodd Funeral Home-North is in charge of arrangements.

Born in Thornton, Idaho, Mrs. Fisher died Thursday.

She graduated from Rigby (Idaho) High School and from Ricks College in Rexburg.

Mrs. Fisher taught elementary school in Moscow, Idaho, and Southern Idaho until 1949. She lived in Spokane from 1949 until 1958, when she moved to Deer Park.

Mrs. Fisher was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Deer Park.

Her husband of 53 years, Reed, died in 1997 Survivors include a daughter, LaDean Rentzschke of Spokane; three sons, Dennis Fisher of Columbia Falls, Mont., Garth Fisher of Alpine, Utah, and Farrell Fisher of Bismarck, N.D.; two sisters, Belva Clement of Richland and Gladys Gillespie of Centerville, Utah; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints General Missionary Fund.

Grace (Conrad) Stephens Spokane

Visitation for Grace Ann (Conrad) Stephens, 55, will be from 8 to 11:45 a.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Riverside Memorial Park.

Mrs. Stephens, who was born in Joseph, Ore., died Wednesday.

She was a homemaker and had been a Spokane resident for more than 22 years.

Mrs. Stephens is survived by a son, Robert Stephens of Moorpark, Calif.; three daughters, Kris Conrad and Alice Taylor, both of Spokane, and Tonya Draper of Castleford, Idaho; two sisters, Eunice Moylan of Spokane and Elaine Dale of Bozeman, Mont.; and 12 grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Patient Care of Spokane.

Arthur Rose Post Falls

Memorial service for Arthur Norman Rose, 85, will be at 2 p.m. today at English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d’Alene.

Mr. Rose, who was born in North Dakota, died Thursday.

He married Emily Wemple in 1935 and they lived in Libby, Mont., for 56 years.

Mr. Rose had worked as a logger and a heavy equipment operator for J. Neal Lumber in Montana.

He was active as a photographer and pursued art, music and history.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Gerry Rose of Oregon, Norman Rose of Tacoma, Mark Rose of Seattle and Bill Rose of Spokane; three daughters, Peggy Brothers of Post Falls, Becky Beimler of Ketchikan, Alaska, and Sylvia Johnson of Puyallup, Wash.; two brothers, Harold Harding of Port Ludlow, Wash., and Wallace Rose of North Dakota; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
